You can run reports on any number data in the management information and show how you are performing.

Reports can show your average waiting times today, and how they compare with a month ago. So you will have proof when your waiting times are getting shorter. If the speed and number of customers going through your organisation is more efficient, then you can prove that too. If your target is say, to serve 80% of customers within 10 minutes of their arrival in your office, you can easily show that you are achieving this.
